Karwa Chauth is one the most romantic festival of all the Hindu festivals celebrated in India. Karwa Chauth cherishes and glorifies the marital bliss experience by married Hindu women or suhagins. The festival of Karwa Chauth is observed on the Kartik ki chouth - the fourth day of the waning moon of Kartik (October- November). On this day, married women observe a day-long fast for the long life of their husband. They do not partake a morsel of food or a drop of water from dawn till moonrise as they observe the fast with utmost devotion for the tradition and love for their husband.
